Engine 2

 
Highland's Engine 2 is set up as a versatile attack pumper that responds to car fires, vehicle accidents, utility, and hazmat calls.
 

Engine 2 is a 1984 Pierce Dash pumper with the following features:

  • A 4-person cab

  • A 1250 gallon per minute Waterous fire pump

  • A top mount pump panel

  • 1200 feet of 5" large diameter  supply line

  • A front mounted winch

  • A rescue compartment with Hurst "Jaws of Life" tools

  • One in-line foam eductor capable of flowing Class B foam

  • 8 preconnected attack lines of various diameters, lengths, and flows, as follows:
    • Four 1-3/4" flowing 150gpm at 75psi nozzle pressure
    • One 2-1/2" attack lines with a Solid Bore 1-1/4 tip flowing 325gpm
    • One 3" leader line to a "water thief device"
    • One tailboard mounted "Step Gun" solid bore master stream device flowing 500 to 600gpm and preconnected with 150' of lightweight 3" line
    • One extendable Deck Gun with stacked tips flowing 500 to 1,000 gpm
